De kränktas kör: Fatwa mot kroppsscanningar på flygplatser

Ett muslimskt råd i USA har nu sänt ut en fatwa mot de nya kroppsscanningarna som börjar utföras på flyplatser.

Att gå igenom en sådan scanner är i strid med islam, hävdar de muslimska rådet av "lärda", FCNA och skriver nu ut fatwan på sin hemsida www.fiqhcouncil.org.

Fatwa över domen mot Vilks

HÄR ÄR FATWAN - PUNKT FÖR PUNKT

1. Vi fördömer karikatyren och anser att den är en kränkning av muslimers religion, men även en kränkning av alla människors religioner.

2. Vi slår fast om vår övertygelse om den fria pressen och strävar efter att öka yttrandefriheten. Men att kränka att andra människors helgedomar ingår inte i yttrandefrihet utan är ett brott mot de mänskliga rättigheterna.

3. Vi anser att karikatyren strider mot vår strävan mot en positiv integrering mellan olika europeiska samhällen där islam ingår.

4. Vi anser att karikatyren strider mot vårt arbete att tillsammans med andra religiösa grupper skapa en dialog mellan olika religioner.

5. Vi ber europiska myndigheter att skydda muslimer och alla andra troende och mot kränkningar.

6. Vi ber religiösa- och människorättsorganisationer att motverka kränkningar av religioner och helgedomar.

7. Vi tar avstånd från alla våldshandlingar inklusive mord och våld eftersom det liksom kränkningar av andra grupper strider mot islams lära.

8. Vi ber europeiska lagstiftande organ att stifta lagar som kriminaliserar kränkningar av alla religioner och helgedomar.

9. Vi ber alla muslimer i Europa att var förståndiga och försvara sina helgedomar med hjälp av rådande demokratiska lagar och ta avstånd från allt som har med våld och kriminella handlingar att göra.

10. Vi står fast vid vårt mål att hjälpa europeiska muslimer att bidra till välstånd i sina länder och att den galna karikatyren inte ska stoppa denna viktiga process.
